I've been dancing a lot lately. I also have not been sharing it. I should do so, at the very least, to give life updates; it is a matter of capacity, personally. I'll do better. (I'll probably have another dance update before we move into April, a.k.a. National Poetry Month!)

When I register to dance, it is usually a regular class. This time, Amanda wanted to shoot a visual with a small group of students. I'm so glad I decided to go. It had been a while since I danced with a group in this way, where we'd learn choreography, block it, and stage it. This resulted from 2 days of rehearsal, and we filmed the second day.

The energy was different than in a typical class. It was understood that there was a shared vision and we were all important in how the final piece looked. There was a sense of safety and trust in the teacher. Everyone moved together beautifully. And it looked amazing! This was shot at the end of the summer of 2022.
